Today's rating - Good
Sydney regional surf report, 6.50 am Monday 8th March: Great autumn conditions on offer with leftover SSE groundswell having backed off overnight, now running at a more accesible head-high to well overhead at the more south facing beaches, while wrapping at lower waist to head-high or so along the open beaches, with light NNW winds below five knots opening up clean conditions wherever you look. Tide is on its way out to an 11.38 am low and it will return to a 5.34 pm high.
Rest of the Day Outlook: SSE swell is dropping by degrees throughout the day and will probably half this morning's size by this afternoon, so it's well worth squeezing in a surf or two in before it dries up. South-facing beaches and sheltered northern corners will be the pick as winds remain out of the north to NE all day. Hooray for Mondays.
